Alliance Against Family Violence
The AAFV is the only agency in Leavenworth County that provides services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and/or stalking and they run the only 24-hour local crisis line. The AAFV is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1984 to provide a safe place for victims of domestic violence to stay.

How to get involved: The Alliance is always in need of items to help women and families get back on their feet.  Items such as hygiene products, cleaning products, paper goods, and baby items are always needed.  They also collect used cell phones and mattresses.  There is a collection box in the entrance to the parish hall.  Or you can call 913-682-1752.  Visit www.aafv1984.com for more info and a specific list of needs and to volunteer.
