Remember -- rummage has only a few ads as our only expense -- it is one of our most successful fund raisers -- so get involved!

Rummage Sale Information

The rummage sale is held in the Fall (~October).  This is a significant event for the Parish as it is low cost and allows us to gather funds to accomplish the Parish vision.

Because we are limited in space and time, we generally do not want shoes or clothing (with some exceptions as listed below).  Please donate your other clothing and shoe  items to an appropriate organization in town.

Please only bring in item in decent, selling condition.

Consignment.  If you have something you are unwilling to donate to the church, but would like it sold and it is worth some money, bring it in and name your price.  If it sells, the Church gets 20%.  If it doesn't sell, you take it back home.

Large items may be picked up by arrangement with Charles Campbell at Studdard Moving & Storage.  Other items may be left in the vestibule of the parish house or preferably call the rummage sale point of contact to arrange to have it taken in the back door and to the storage room.

You may bring items to the parish hall and leave them in the vestibule of the parish house,  please wrap and hide items that are dangerous to children - such as butcher knives or wood saws and put them in the bottom of the bag.  If you contact Shirley Franklin beforehand, you may unload directly from your vehicle to the downstairs rummage storage room (saving everyone several trips).

Setup/Teardown.  We need volunteers after the 10:15 AM church the week of the sale to set up the rummage sale area.  This involves bringing items up from the storage area downstairs and setting up the tables.  This is very labor intensive and your help is needed after church.  Teardown occurs on Friday afternoon at 1 PM.  If you have sometime please stop by and lend a hand.

Please search out what you can spare and bring it.  See if your neighbors have some great stuff to donate too!

Thank You All,
Shirley Franklin
